Applicant journey

From programme selection to campus registration.

The precise process and document list vary by university and applicant. AlimStudy Global checks current requirements before submission.

Choose and assess

Select a programme and review academic background, English evidence, study gap and progression.

Submit application

Prepare passport, certificates, transcripts and any programme-specific portfolio or supporting material.

Meet offer conditions

Review the university decision, satisfy outstanding conditions and verify the current intake.

Prepare visa documents

Complete the current certified or Apostilled academic, identity, financial, police and required health documentation.

University coordination

The university coordinates or submits the applicable entry-permit process using the final document set.

Await the decision

Do not book non-refundable travel until the applicable approval and university instructions are received.

Plan arrival

Confirm accommodation, airport plans, travel documentation and any university arrival service.

Register on campus

Complete registration, residence formalities, orientation and any post-arrival checks required.

No guaranteed outcome: university admission, an offer letter or counsellor support does not guarantee an entry permit, visa, employment or permanent residence.
Work and post-study planning

Use the official limits—not marketing promises.

Rules can change and eligibility is individual. Always confirm the current Migration Department and Labour Department requirements.

During study

Restricted, approved employment

Third-country students may work up to 20 hours per week during classes and up to 38 hours during class breaks, only in permitted sectors and occupations. The employment contract must be approved by the relevant District Labour Office.

After study

Limited route for higher qualifications

Graduates who complete an EQF level 7 qualification—master’s level or above—may apply, subject to the legal conditions, to stay for up to 12 months to seek work or establish a business connected to their studies.

Permanent residence

No automatic PR route

Studying in Cyprus does not itself create a right to permanent residence. Any later residence or employment route has its own eligibility, evidence and legal conditions.

Decision timing

Avoid fixed promises

Processing depends on the completeness of documents, university coordination and government assessment. AlimStudy Global does not publish a guaranteed approval time or a visa-success percentage.

Campus setting

Compare Larnaka and Nicosia.

Housing cost and daily travel depend on the exact campus, neighbourhood and accommodation—not only the city name.

Important verification

Choose the programme first, then confirm every condition.

The public profiles deliberately exclude fixed tuition figures, scholarship promises and payment instructions because these can change and must be confirmed from current university documents.

Eligibility

Academic level, subject background, English requirement, gap and supporting evidence are programme-specific.

Intake and delivery

Confirm the active intake, campus, teaching mode, duration and any placement or professional-recognition conditions.

Current offer

Use the official offer and current university communication for tuition, deposits, awards, deadlines and refund conditions.
